CAVE
BOOKSHOP
Welcome
to the Caves Andalucia book store. There are many books on Spain
and we have put a collection here with the publications that are
most relevant to cave living in Andalucia or Spanish rural life.
Finca
by Alec and Erna Fry
For
those adventuring into cave renovation themselves we can recommend
Finca by Alec and Erna Fry. Not specifically about caves but full
of handy tips on Spanish tools and building products, some useful
advice too. I referred to this book many times while installing
electrics, plumbing and mixing plasters, etc.
Excellent
January 2007
Reviewer: Mr. W. Cuming "Bill The Fish" (Hampshire,
UK)
This
is a gem - easy to read, easy to follow, with a wealth of information
and practical guidance - and most importantly, it gives you the
confidence to make the right judgement on what to do, and the
confidence to just get on and do it.
There
is also lots of information on Spanish building products, and
a link to a very active & useful Yahoo user group, where lots
more information can be found.
If
you have a house in Spain that needs renovating without destroying
its character, then this book should be a definite in your reading
list.
Just
the job September 2004
Reviewer: Sandra Fry (Spain)
Really
excellent for those of us renovating any old property in Spain
(our is a village house not a finca)
We
found something on every page we should know about. Brilliant!
